The 2023 Bond includes additional expansion of Jarrell High School. This expansion will create a new Career, Technical, and Education wing and a Gym. The 2023 Bond Committee voted to include expansion to meet the diverse needs of our growing student population. The new wing will have space for:

• Engineering labs
• Robotics classes
• Construction labs
• Veterinarian class and medical space
• Welding shop
• A larger kitchen for Culinary Arts
• Digital media
• Broadcasting
• Health Science Labs
• Animation graphics
• Sports marketing
• Law enforcement classes

The gym is larger than the high school's current gym. It also centralizes the training and weight rooms, so students will not have to walk outside and across the campus to the current facilities. 

Additional classroom space was part of the 2021 Bond, giving the high school room for 2,200 students. The expansion in the 2023 Bond is specific to the district's growing CTE curriculum and instruction, as well as athletics.

The Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees approved the schematic design for the expansion project on September 18, 2024. The building is expected to be finished by August 2027.
