About Jarrell Ranch Middle School
Jarrell Ranch Middle School is being built on the east side of I-35 on land the district already owns. On June 21, 2023, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees approved the schematic designs of the new school. On March 27, 2024, the board approved naming the new facility, Jarrell Ranch Middle School. Its address is 2401 E. FM 487, Jarrell.

A committee was put together to help name the new middle school. The committee met several times over the course of several months to consider naming options. They presented the school board with seven choices. The board unanimously agreed on Jarrell Ranch Middle School.
