Jarrell Independent School District has seven school board trustees who represent single member districts within Jarrell ISD. As required by law, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees must review U.S. Census Data every ten years to assess population growth or decline and other demographic changes.

Texas Education Code Section 11.052 requires school districts to redivide single-member districts if the census data indicate that the population of the most populous district exceeds the population of the least populous district by more than 10%. Redistricting rebalances the total Jarrell ISD population throughout the district.

During the 2022 redistricting process, board members represented the following districts:

Crystal Phalen, Place 2 - President
Jenny Arnold, Place 6 - Vice President
Tamara Dozier, Place 5 - Secretary
Bruce Epstein, Place 3
Troy Clawson, Place 1 (Resigned October 12, 2022 - Seat is vacant)
Dave Lovelace, Place 4
Rebecca Kirby, Place 7 (Ginger Martinez was elected in November 2022 to represent Place 7)

At the June 15, 2022 board meeting, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees adopted the Plan 3 redistricting map that outlines the new boundaries for each district. Information about the redistricting process is below, as are the maps for Plans 1 and 2.

It's important to note that redistricting:
            - Does not add any new districts
            - Only affects individual Trustee district boundaries
            - Does not impact attendance zones or boundaries, feeder patterns, or your taxes in any way
            - Relates exclusively to the election of Board members
            - Is not the same as rezoning, which is about school attendance
